Willow is a special senior girl who still has a little spunk and lots of love to give. She was brought to a shelter almost a year ago when her owner passed away. Quickly becoming a staff favorite at Lifeline, she’d get an occasional weekend out but found herself on the urgent list this July. Thankfully a foster stepped up and she’s now our gorgeous resident house hippo. She’s house trained, does not require a crate, fully vetted and dog neutral. She is lower energy and need a comfy couch and two short walks a day. In honor of her first human, we are searching for her forever home

Briar our special one year old lady who deserves the chance to be a normal puppy again. She arrived to the shelter with a broken femur 7/31 and sat in a metal cage in pain for two weeks. this week, we operate to stabilize and save her leg. Her ears stand up when she’s happy. she’s small, just around 40 lbs. we suspect she’s a Shepard x aussie mix. we are convinced she is related to carl, but animal control reports they did not come from the same place. Regardless, we couldn’t leave her behind. she’s a medical hold and with an amazing foster

Carl is a 8mo male great pyr x hound x lab mix (best guess!) he was overlooked in his crowded run with two other large breed pups.  in fact we passed him by ourselves until our foster said “wait, can we go back to see carl?” he so very clearly is a gentle boy with a big heart full of love and desperately wants a person.  he was blown away by a dog bed and concept of toys. items he’s never seen. kid and dog friendly and available to love

male 5 weeks, a sweet cuddly tiny tot. He has the cutest dapple on his left ear and always snuggles his little sister, Cindy, to keep her warm. what a guy.

female 5 weeks, Cindy’s bigger but not braver sister. Scottie is our sweet, shy girl who trembled in fear for the first hour of intake. She’s learning to more confident and is sharing a foster with Wyatt to help her come out of her shell. It was a scary start for these babies and we are so glad they are safe

male 5 weeks, the largest and most outgoing of the new tiny tot litter…he has a big personality. wyatt loves to play, tell you he’s hungry, and carry toys in his mouth. we see a slow feeder in his future because he thinks food is the best ever.

 female 5 weeks, smallest member of the tiny tot pack. A runt girl who, with her siblings, was dumped and left fighting for her life. she loves to snuggle with her brother Bailey, to untie your shoe laces and will take her paw and touch you for more pets. foster says she’s a bit of an instigator. we agree.

George is our silly but at times a bit shy boy, he is a 12 week old who is looking for a home with another dog to teach him how to be a brave boy. He is a sweetie pie who loves a good cuddle, a good walk (he’s got little legs right now so be prepared for a flop).
