Snickers
She is a smiley, intelligent, active 7 year old Aussie x Shepard mix looking for her perfect match. Snickers would thrive in an active home with adults and older children. She requires two walks a day and loves puzzle enrichment work. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has basic commands mastered. Practically perfect in every way.

Tater
Tater, the tasty snack sized yorkie-mix tot. He's 2-4yo, past the puppy phase but still has that playful spunk. He'd love an adopter who wants a permanent lap warmer, front seat ride along & social sidekick. Weighing just 5lbs, potty trained, and dog friendly he could easily join a family with other pets and yet be equally happy as an only child. We love his rehoming story, as it aligns with our mission.

Murray
This precious three month old red coonhound pup came to us from a huge hoarding case in north Georgia. He will soon receive medical treatment & a surgery to correct his cherry eye, a prolapse of the third eyelid. He’s a big fan of snuggly contact naps, food, and kids! He is safe with a foster and learning the good life. Adopt this boy before we keep him for ourselves.

Roman
Roman - a 4 year old perfect stereotypical boxer ready to kiss your whole face. A private rehoming case at no fault of his own. His owner adores him and reports he’s very well trained. Still with a wiggly butt and playful energy, her work schedule doesn’t provide quite the attention he deserves. Reach out to meet this total package hunk

Miso
Miso - our spunky, sweet, playful six-week-old rescue mutt boy. We saved him and his sister onyx from Elberton ga, after being dumped on a dirt road in a county with a closed animal control shelter.
-

Onyx
Onyx - our sweet girl, sister to miso and back road save. She’s our cuddle bug, lower energy than her brother and loves nothing more than mealtime.

Lady Bird
ADOPTION PENDING (YAY!)
This lovely lady is a three month old hound mix who came to us after some UGA students found her on a rural road on the way home from spring break. A sheriff on the scene informed them Lady Bird, like so many others, was dumped and would likely be inhumanely euthanized due to lack of resources. Thanks to the thoughtful students, Lady Bird is now in our care, and is ready to flee the nest to her forever home.
The Adoption Process
Apply
A complete application and phone interview is required to meet our available dogs. The adoption application can be found here. You will hear back from a team member within three business days!
Interview
After submitting your application, a team member will reach out to you via text to schedule a phone interview. During this time, we will also be contacting your references, landlord (if applicable), and completing veterinary record checks.
Meet and Greet
After your interview and application process is complete, our team will schedule a meet and greet with the foster and pup. A team member will be present for this in person meeting. You may take the dog home same day.
Adoption Trial
We require a minimum of a two week adoption trial before transfer of ownership is complete. You will enter into an Adoption Trial Agreement, which will be case-specific based on the needs of the dog and adopter. We collect the full adoption fee at the beginning of the trial and will refund it 100% should you choose not to finalize adoption. We warmly welcome our dogs back without judgement if it is not a perfect match!
Transfer of Ownership
At the end of the adoption trial, we will transfer ownership of the dog via contract and microchip transfer, if applicable. Expect to hear from us regularly during the first year!
