Willow
Willow is a special senior girl who still has a little spunk and lots of love to give. She was brought to a shelter almost a year ago when her owner passed away. Quickly becoming a staff favorite at Lifeline, she’d get an occasional weekend out but found herself on the urgent list this July. Thankfully a foster stepped up and she’s now our gorgeous resident house hippo. She’s house trained, does not require a crate, fully vetted and dog neutral. She is lower energy and need a comfy couch and two short walks a day. In honor of her first human, we are searching for her forever home

Carl
Carl is a 11mo male great pyr x hound x lab mix (best guess!) he was overlooked in his crowded run with two other large breed pups. in fact we passed him by ourselves until our foster said “wait, can we go back to see carl?” he so very clearly is a gentle boy with a big heart full of love and desperately wants a person. he was blown away by a dog bed and concept of toys. items he’s never seen. kid and dog friendly and available to love

Muriel
Muriel is a 3-4yo sweet heart - the most gentle submissive gal we have ever met. 95 lbs of pure love and endless kisses. She was a “stray” brought to accas but we suspect owner surrender due to personal circumstance because she clearly loves to be loved as a pet and inside dog. Sadly, she suffered complications from spay surgery that she is currently healing well from in a foster home. M loves kids, all dogs, and to give and be loved. She is potty trained, healthy and perfect

Bailey
male 3.5 months, a sweet cuddly tiny tot. He has the cutest dapple on his left ear and always snuggles his little sister, Cindy, to keep her warm. what a guy.

Wyatt
male 3.5 months, the largest and most outgoing of the new tiny tot litter…he has a big personality. wyatt loves to play, tell you he’s hungry, and carry toys in his mouth. we see a slow feeder in his future because he thinks food is the best ever.

Cindy
female 3.5 months, smallest member of the tiny tot pack. A runt girl who, with her siblings, was dumped and left fighting for her life. she loves to snuggle with her brother Bailey, to untie your shoe laces and will take her paw and touch you for more pets. foster says she’s a bit of an instigator. we agree.

Sunshine (Skye)
Sunshine now Skye, may be our most extensive rescue case. She ran away from her transporter and it took over a month to safely catch and trap her!
Skye is now in a wonderful foster to adopt home and we are so excited about her future! Thank you to everyone who made this rescue possible <3

We are not able to run this rescue without the selfless people who donate their time to volunteer as a foster, sitter, or transport helper! There is SO much that goes into a rescue, if you are interested in making it happen check out our volunteer page!
The Adoption Process
Apply
A complete application and phone interview is required to meet our available dogs. The adoption application can be found here.You will hear back from a team member within three business days!
Interview
After submitting your application, a team member will reach out to you via text to schedule a phone interview. During this time, we will also be contacting your references, landlord (if applicable), and completing veterinary record checks.
Meet and Greet
After your interview and application process is complete, our team will schedule a meet and greet with the foster and pup. A team member will be present for this in person meeting. You may take the dog home same day.
Adoption Trial
We require a minimum of a two week adoption trial before transfer of ownership is complete. You will enter into an Adoption Trial Agreement, which will be case-specific based on the needs of the dog and adopter. We collect the full adoption fee at the beginning of the trial and will refund it 100% should you choose not to finalize adoption. We warmly welcome our dogs back without judgement if it is not a perfect match!
Transfer of Ownership
At the end of the adoption trial, we will transfer ownership of the dog via contract and microchip transfer, if applicable. Expect to hear from us regularly during the first year!
